ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Joshua Ronald Robbins was born on January 29, 1992 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to proud parents Jennifer and Gerald Robbins. Shortly after Joshua was born, they moved to Rochester Hills, Michigan. They lived in a trailer park for the first decade of his life. When Joshua was a child, psychologists diagnosed him with ADHD and Developmental Dispraxia, an autistic- like disorder. Joshua spent his early childhood in and out of psychologists’ offices.
When Joshua was 13, the family moved again twice, staying in the same city. Joshua discovered his talent at the age of 15. His first poem, entitled “Darkness and Love,” was a smash hit among friends and family. In High School, Joshua competed in Wrestling. His grades were low, and he was nearly failing. By the end of his Sophomore year, Joshua had turned his grades around. Now, Joshua is an A and B student, and is planning on teaching high school English, and eventually, becoming a college professor in English. Joshua has written over 90 poems, and is planning to publish a book soon.
Joshua currently resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan with his family consisting of both parents and three siblings. Two boys aging 16 and 10, and a sister aging 12.
